The Aesthetic Medical industry

According to the latest Medpages (Oct 2008) statistics there are 13,682 Family Physicians & General Practitioners, 170 Dermatologist and 140 Plastic Surgeons in South Africa. The AMCSA believes that it has a responsibility to educate and provide best practice information to all physicians practicing aesthetic medicine. For 2010, we are expecting at least 400 doctors to attend; including Aesthetic Practitioners, Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, over 50 guest speakers as well as 200 Exhibitors to attend the congress.

The 2010 AMCSA will focus on the rapidly expanding field of aesthetic & anti-aging medicine,presenting new procedures, products and technologies, as well as leading specialists in the aesthetic industry who will share theoretical & hands-on experiences that are relevant, progressive and contemporary in this field. As in the past we will include Obesity management and Sexual aging topics.

Upon confirmation of your stand at the CSIR for the 2010 congress, each Exhibitor shall receive the mailing list (includes address, contact numbers, fax, MP number etc) of delegates which attended the 2009 CSIR congress – applicable to 2009 Exhibitors only.

The Aesthetic Medicine Congress (AMCSA) aims to provide an ‘ideal sales environment' for the interaction between congress delegates & Exhibitors who offer products & services to help congress delegates succeed in aesthetic medicine.

Scientific sessions

The congress will draw in a number of international medical experts who will present the latest scientific research on various anti-aging topics. We welcome any sponsorship or contribution to speakers in the scientific session. The main auditorium scientific sessions remains strictly scientific & non-promotional.

Presentations will be strictly evaluated prior to each session. The scientific committee reserves the right to remove slides should the content not comply with the above.

Practical/hands-on workshops will provide a valuable educational tool for physicians to learn about:
